When the 30 days are up, Steerd does not lock you out or delete anything: your account becomes a genuine, permanent free account. Everything you built stays exactly where you left it. Only the free plan limits start to apply.

A year of Solo runs about two hours of billable time at a typical DACH freelance day rate. Win one extra gig because your pipeline and profile were on point, and it has paid for itself for years to come.
Pricing questions, answered straight.
What is a seat?
A full seat is one person with complete access to Steerd: pipeline, CVs, invoicing, everything. Solo includes one, Team includes three, and you can add more as your team grows.
What is a time-tracking seat?
A time-tracking seat is for someone who logs billable hours and travel expenses on your projects but does not need the rest of Steerd. It costs less than a full seat and is billed separately.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You will see it coming before you hit it. Once a cap is reached, Steerd stops you from creating anything new past it and prompts you to upgrade. Nothing you already have is deleted or locked.
Can I export my data if I leave?
Yes, on every plan including the free one. "Download my data" in settings packages any team you own as a ZIP, and it holds the whole team rather than a slice of it: your files and attachments, decrypted, plus one JSON file per table for the records behind them. Projects, clients, contacts, invoices with their line items, time entries, trips, CVs and the audit log are all in there, and a manifest lists a SHA-256 checksum for every file so you can check the archive arrived intact. What it leaves out is credential hashes and our own operational bookkeeping, none of which is content you made. On Team, only the owner gets anything from it: if you are a member rather than the owner, that button returns an empty ZIP. For a single kind of record the narrower doors are still open: contacts export as vCards, all of them at once or one at a time. Every CV exports as a PDF, as an editable Word file, or as JSON Resume. Invoices also download individually: always a PDF, plus an XML when the invoice is an e-invoice. Time entries export as CSV or PDF, filterable by project or client, on every plan. On Solo and up the public API also reads projects and clients directly; on Free it does not. Nothing is locked, and we would rather name the gap than round it up.
